American Pale Ale is a beautiful copper-gold beer with a distinctive sweet aroma of ripe fruit, in the style of citrus and passion fruit. You also clearly sense notes of malt and roasted grain. Enjoy it in the shade on a cozy day on the terrace.

Copenhagen 9/9 2018. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Kbh N. Usual Braunstein label in pale green.
Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with big white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of fluffy foam crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and dominated by sour and bitter notes. More moderate malty backbone providing a little caramel and sweetness. Fairly generic but pleasant.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, flat texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter and fairly short.
A quite generic APA. Does what it is supposed to - but without much inspiration.
