The beer's warm, golden brown color warms you up in a cold time, the head is soft and the full-bodied taste makes the notes of winter spread in your mouth. A malty barleywine with flavors of brown sugar and dark chocolate.

Copenhagen 1/6 2018. 75 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Little Gift Box with a Beer Glass and this bottle. Black and gold serious looking label reminding me of a Morticians Congress.
Pours hazy amber with a medium-sized, dense yellowish head. Settles as a thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweet and warm. Brown sugar, caramel with prominent notes of nuts. Strong odor of boozy alcohol. Sherry undertones.
Light slightly prickly carbonation. Thick, soft and oily texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is heavily sweet. No bitterness to speak of. Aftertaste is sweet with sour notes. Light alcohol burn. Nutty finish.
Very sweet and on the verge of becoming cloying. A Caramel and Booze Bonanaza.
