This special beer is a full-bodied and characterful tribute to the traditional red beer in all its beauty. A well-chosen mix of different malt types gives the beer its complexity with a touch of hops.

Copenhagen 26/8 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta, Frederiksborgvej, Kbh. NV. Another anniversary beer from Braunstein. Red version of their usual label design.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a white head. A bit bubbly. Subsides fairly quickly to a thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma of sweet caramel, roasted malts and some tart fruit. Biscuits and caramel. Unripe berries.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor follows the nose - caramel and roasted malts with fruity hints. Sweetish aftertaste. Lingers for a while.
Quite pleasant compared to Braunsteins other anniversary efforts.
