Copenhagen 29/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from Fakta, Frederiksborgvej, Kbh. NV. Issued as a part of COOPs 150 years anniversary. The label is in Braunstein's usual Pokal brand design in a dark red version.

Foamy and gushing upon opening making a mess (tsk). Pours hazy amber with a big yellowish head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm creamy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer.

Aroma is sweet and malty. Caramel, brown sugar and something lightly roasted.

Medium strong carbonation and watery palate. Lively texture.

Flavor is sweet with a distinct sour and tart fruity notes. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undertone.

Braunstein's involvement with the Pokal brand has certainly made it a more enjoyable experience to drink.
