An orange beer with a small head and a murky appearance.
Smell is light malty with a faint grainy and wheat-like smell, this could be stronger. The yeast adds a nice clovy and a light phenolic smell.
Taste in general is not very outspoken, there is some grain and some malt, but appears to be quite subdued. The beer is missing some phenolic cloviness and a good dose of grain. I suggest to use the proper yeast strain. The beer does taste fresh and does not have the dry yeast properties Dikke Deur has. Mouthfeel is slightly sweet and moderate to strong sticky on the lips.
