L- Ultra dark chestnut with flashes of ruby if held in front of a halogen lamp. Clear, pours with a 1Cm fone-bubble dark tan head. Holds well.
S- Quite a deep roasty/toasty smell.
T- Quite rich, malty and light toast, perhaps a little sweet for me, a brief mild hoppy-dry note comes in very late.
F- It's quite a meaty beer, ie in it's richness, but the low ABV% leaves a void in the overall experience. I'd like to see a 'Goddess Arrowaine Special Edition' where they augment her ABV% by say +5%>8.5% as there could be enough body to balance it out.
O- I think the lower ABV reduces the punch and in turn increases the focus on the arguably somewhat sweet richness. I'm not into beers at the sweeter end of the spectrum, even more trad ones, and for that reason I'd not buy this again.
BB: 30/9/20. 500ml bottle. Bought directly from the brewery.

Pours a, deep, dark mahogany coloration with a medium, fizzy head. Smells of lightly toasted, grainy, caramel malt and hints of chocolate and toffee. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by toasted, grainy, caramel malt and notes of lighter notes of chocolate and toffee, as well as just a hint of dark fruit and herbal hops. Finishes with a light sweetness and bitterness and some malts lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.
A pleasant Mild Ale with a good balance, although perhaps a little too sweet.

Bottle. Dark amber. Tan head which dissipates with alacrity.
Malt and hops to the nose. A nice fresh aroma.
A mild sweetness followed by a light milk chocolate biscuity malt.
Medium body. Fairly smooth.
Unexpectedly flavoursome. I glugged this one down.

Almost opaque black with a faint copper hue. Light creamy brown 2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with poor legs. Flavors of walnuts, berries, light chocolate, roasted grains, and herbal hops. Slick full body with a shy crisp. Light strength finish, mostly toffee/brown sugar with vague fruits and a very soft earthy and roasted profile. A hint of cherries and smoky Rauch effect. Overly accessible session strength that feels a bit basic. The freshness is alright and the body decently filling. Overall okay quality craft.

A 500ml bottle with a BB of Feb 2018. Picked up recently from Booths. Described on the label as a dark beer brewed with chocolate malt.
A: Poured into a pint mug. A very dark reddish-brown that appears almost black in the glass. Produces a large head of creamy tan-coloured foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a patchy surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of sweet dark malt with subtle hints of chocolate, roasted grain, a twinge of barley sugar and ale yeast. Subdued.
T: Tastes of sweet malt with notes of chocolate, barley sugar, mild brown sugar, faint roasted grain and ale yeast. Little hop character to speak of. A delicate sugary finish upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with soft carbonation and good body for the strength. Aftertaste of sweet malt, ale yeast and a faint leafiness.
O: Quite nice, though surprisingly sweet. Looks great, while the aroma is pretty subtle and the flavour is a satisfying blend of sweet dark malt and yeast. Good body. Resembles a cross between a brown ale and a mild. Perhaps a tad too sugary, but otherwise very drinkable. Worth sampling.

Dark brown with a copper tinge, topped with 5 fingers of fire like, orange-yellow, mutating head.
Smells of burnt candy, Halloween chews, brown sugar and a fruity, cherry like smell.
Tastes the same as the nose, with little bitterness. Sweet, malty, and candy like.
Slightly syrupy feel, with little carbonation.
Got in Chiang Mai, drinking here today. I like it. Its highly drinkable and could go for it again. Feb 28th, 2017.

From Festival de las Naciones. In Teku glass. Playing Magic Duels. Very sweet, maybe a bit too much, but not too unpleasant either. Good body for such a low ABV.

Bottled
Pours a dark chocolate brown body with decent tobacco stained head
Aroma of chicory and treacle
Tastes like that as well but slightly nutty too
Solid beer
Best Wychwood's bottle shame it's not on sale individually
