Look: nice reddish gold color good head that lasts, Smell: malt, fruit, Taste: Starts out with malted berry flavor, a bit of sweetness and ends with a pleasant bitterness. Fell: smooth, full.
This one of Lidl's 'craft brewed classics' and is very reasonably priced. It is a sold example of a ruby ale; sold malt base, fruity and bitter. While not the most complex ale I have ever had, it is an enjoyable glass you can slowly drink and enjoy. Goes well with a wee dram of Islay single malt.

L- Dark copper brown, clear pours with brief white cap.
S- Very thin, just a hint of grain.
T- Quite light though I do get a hops + malts going on. Trad in profile. Might have more presence if I'd not served it from a notably cold fridge.
F- Slightly to the hoppy-dry side, I keep thinking ... hmmm yes I could enjoy this with lunch, but then remember it's 5.0% which is higher than it comes over.
O- Suggest not over-chilling it to give it a better chance. It's Ok for a beer that's been anonymised by Lidl under the 'Hatherwood' branding. No real reason to buy it again but overall it's fine with nothing to offend going on.
Bought from Lidl in Cambridge. 500ml bottle BB: Nov-22

Bottle. Amber red with a thin frothy head.
Toffee caramel and distant hops when smelt.
Tastes similar. Definitely toffee.
Mid body and carbonation.
EPA surely but understand why styled as IR.
