When you see the rather cheeky pumpclip you know you want to get your mouth around one of these babies.

Giving wood coloured reddish brown tall pint and rather good head this was a most welcomed ale.

A cheeky sweet caramel taste and a warming slight spice and a nice pear afterglow, tasty and well rounded

slight notes of candied peel on the dainty nose.

Not bad at all.

Hand-pulled pint at The Falcon Inn, Woore, Shropshire on 28 Sep 2013.

Amber/brown and fruity: full head that stayed.

The beer had a soft, orchard aroma and taste, sweeter more than bitter with hints of apples and pears within the mixed bag of flavours. Pleasant enough, but without testing your taste buds or nasal organs too greatly.

OK and in good condition.

Rich, malty caramel and a hint of liquorice. Fruity.

Sweet and smooth.

Bountiful indeed.

I had this with an Irish lamb stew on a clear but cool English evening. It poured nicely, but as usual with little or no head. This is a monthly beer from Wychwood, and better than some of the others I have tried. A nice color with average mouthfeel. A caramel taste with a hint of roast behind it, and good finish in the mouth.
