I drank this in a fine pub in England during a wet wintry night.
It pours a light tan with a minimal head that does not hang around. Smell is stronger than most bitters, but doesn't really jump up and grabl you.
The spicy taste does. It kind of reaches out and gets your attention after a fairly normal pour and little in the way of a strong smell. A very pleasant surprise against most bitters.
Drinkability is good, I imagine better with food due to the spicy taste, even though you get used to it fairly quickly.

Poured a light tan with a finger of frothy head. Lacing is good, retention is weak.
Smells of sweet malt. Dry earthy hop is a bit of an afterthought.
Taste is spicy and sharp, hop is much stronger than in the nose. Hop dominates the body and finish, while the biscuity malt balances the brew.
Mouthfeel is dry, light bodied. Flavor lingers.
Drinkability is good. This is great in the winter and its a pity that its cask only. Had 3 before cloying.
