Came a dark red with an orange glow. Came with a huge head. It was fresh poured, but the surface looked dry. I knew at once I had a one way ticket to lace city. I wasnt disappointed. Smelled of sweet pineapple and dry bitter oat. Tasted strongly of burnt sugars, nuts and dry molasses that slid into a dry dirty malt flavor. Finished sweet. Good dynamics in the flavor. Mouth feel was full bodied with a nicely paired slight carbonation. Nice brew.

Spicey yeast, malty. Well-malted. Reddish brown, with lace. Some hop, nuttiness. For some reason, served too cold. Better when warmed up.Creamy, medium mouthfeel. Satisfying. A wine-like quality to this that would have been interesting with food, as different tastes as you went along..
