I had this at the little Independence Brewpub at the Philadelphia Airport. Not the ideal tasting conditions, as the beer was served in 16 oz. plastic cups (side note: while not ideal for tasting, plastic reminds me of my college days, so there's a certain nostalgic fondness... but I digress). The smell is somewhat bready, with a slight orangey aroma. It looks like most tripels I've seen, deep golden with a striking, thin white head. The taste is sweet and citrusy, like an orange. Slightly bitter finish, like an orange rind. The alcohol is not overwheling in taste, but after three I was feelng pretty darn good. Not a bad tasting beer, given the plastic conditions. Overall, an average example, though quite a treat at the airport.

BTW, I haven't contacted the brewery on the proper name (my guess is that it really should be Belgian Tripel), but I wrote the name they had on the board at the pub.
