On tap at the Allen location.
This is a summer version of the regular Route 66. The bartender said it was brewed to be lighter and hoppier.
The beer pours a dark brown to black color with a tan head. The aroma is reminiscent of cocoa and not too much else. Overall, it is a little faint and the beer doesn’t really smell like much. The flavor has a lot of heavily roasted malt, as well as some cocoa and some oats. Creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
