I am a bit confused with beer. The beer says Headstrong IPA, but there is only a Headstrong PA. The beer is off white head billowy creamy head that is two fingers. The head is slowly dissipating leaving some lacing on the glass. The beer has a pale golden yellow color and hazy. A good amount of carbonation exist within the beer.
Nose: A rich tropical, orange, grapefruit, resin, floral, biscuit, and toasted malt. To me smells like crystal malts, not sure.
Taste: Really bright orange and floral notes with tropical resin, biscuits and toasted malt. In the back of the beer is slightly phenolic and solvent.
Mouthfeel: A medium body beer with good carbonation, medium plus astringency, and long finish.
Overall: The color and the nose on the beer is awesome the taste is fairly close to what an IPA , the phenolic and solvent notes on the back of beer is somewhat distracting. Good IPA Overall.
