Appearance: Big bubbles form a weak, gaseous head above a yellow golden body. Meh.
Smell: Sweet corn, and lots of it, fresh and kernely, almost ridiculously corny but not in a terribly bad adjuncty way. Very weak Noble hops add a bit of a grassy aroma. Very shallow and boring, but not bad.
Taste: Nice and crisp, pleasantly hoppy - floral and spicy - with a light caramel sweetness from the malts. Well-lagered and dry in the finish as any good Pilsener should be, much better than I expected from the sight and smell of it.
Mouthfeel: Mouth-fillingly airy, big and foamy; not really smooth, but thankfully not too zippy; clean and gassy.
Drinkability: This is nice, but not all that much better than, say, a Yebisu or a Kirin Fukkoku Lager... and twice the price of either of them. I like it and could drink it often, but I probably won't.
