On-draught @ the brewery:
Saaz hops are present but don't bring the spiciness of Saazer Saaz.
Clean pilsner malt is obviously present.
Clean drinking but a bit smooth and buttery, lacking the subtle dryness and crisp carbonation of the best pilsners.
Drinkable and refreshing, but it's not going toe to toe with the best Bohemian/Czech expressions of the style anytime soon.

Just not a huge Pils fan ... arguable whether there should be a post personal (adds to your own list but not the weighted website score for when you know it is a style you just don’t enjoy) and a post public (for when you score the styles you really do enjoy).

330ml can bought from The Vineyard, Belfast
Poured a clear light yellow colour... Pure white head poured fairly big and foamy then faded quite quickly to wispy layer.... no real carbonation... decent amount of sticky lacing...
Aroma - Faint biscuity malts, light peppery hops, spicy fruits (light lemons, apples), some saltiness, mint, light honey sweetness, light grassy / floral notes...
Taste - Peppery and grassy hops, quite tart fruits (lemons, bitter oranges), honey, some biscuit malts, herbal notes, salty traces, again some light mint...
Feel - Light and crisp... Light body... Pretty refreshing and drinkable
Overall - A good, clean and very drinkable Pils... worth a try...

A 500ml green glass bottle with a BB of Feb 2015. A recent gift from my brother. Described as a European pilsner hopped with NZ-grown Saaz for extra flavour.
A: Poured into a straight pint glass. A bright golden-amber hue with good carbonation. Yields a large head of fluffy white foam that hangs around for a bit and slowly settles to a thick surface layer. Nice lacing.
S: Aroma of light malt with a subtle, grainy nuttiness and hints of noble hops, grass, mild spice and faint earthy yeast. A whisper of leafy harshness in the background. Pretty good.
T: Tastes of light malt with a subtle hoppy character and a crisp, dry finish. Notes of mild grain, noble hops, spice, grass/hay, earthy yeast and a twinge of stewed hops in the background. Slightly harsh. Highly attenuated, followed by a dry, leafy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and good body. Somewhat astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of grassy noble hops, stewed leaves and faint malt.
O: A solid effort that results in a tasty pilsner. It looks great, like a classic lager. The aroma and flavour are nice - subtle leafy hops marred by a touch of harshness. Decent body. Much more flavoursome than the macro equivalent; perfect for a hot day. Worth sampling if you come across it.

Pours a bright and light gold color, with a nice big fluffy white head.
Floral nose, with some resiny hops, but maybe a bit skunky.
Crisp tasting pils. Light creamy malts up front, a little bit sweet. Finish is snappy and bitter, mineral like, with a crushed aspirin bitter hop bite. Beer still leaves a touch of a skunky taste in the finish though, a little off, but still not bad.
Good, crisp, with nice body and carbonation.
Pretty good pils, the skunky quality holds it back a bit though. Still tasty and worth trying, I don't think I'll try it again though unless it's on tap, maybe the skunky quality won't be there.

A: Crystal clear pale straw yellow color. Small puffy white head. Decent retention. Medium carbonation.
S: Big grassy hop aroma with some citrus notes and a hint of pepper.
T: Sweet and grainy malt character. Big dry herbal hop finish thats a bit astringent.
