A bottle I found in a local wine shop and paid almost £5 for.. It's a great looking bottle, love the Three Boys logo. Pours a hazy amber colour with a cream head. Aromas of citrus, hops & maybe some fruits in there. Tastes of citrus, caramel, fruits and biscuit flavour as well as hops. Aftertaste is a nice dry bitterness. Overall I really enjoyed this one, as a one off worth the price paid!

Bottle from liquor land in auckland.
Pours a golden color with about a half finger of head. zero lacing.
Nose is a mix of British hops and New Zealand hops... citrus, pine, maybe even some spruce in there too... not much malt, but smells quite nice.
Taste, follows the nose, citrus, pine, even a bit of spruce... A bit of malt, but this is all hop. a nice mix of british and citrus hops. Not english style, but a mix of English and american style. It works out well. It is quite thin though, but at 5.2% this is extremely flavorful.

Nice light gold color, pretty clear, with a decent head.
Fresh and bright hops on the nose. Has that earthy and resin note that I tend to notice in the New Zealand hopped beers. These don't seem to have that big bitter citrus nose that I taste at home in the USA, but I still really dig the raw earthiness that these hops impart.
Clean and crisp tasting IPA. Subtle backdrop of caramel malt sweetness, then a nice finish that is bitter, with a blast of resiny and floral hops. Very nice tasting brew.
Good, goes down easy, but doesn't feel too light.
Easy to sip, a nice IPA. Balance is there, as is the nice hop flavors, I enjoyed this one, and would happily have another. Good stuff!

a) Gold with flecks of matter suspended in the fluid. Solid offwhite 1" head persists.
s) Strong fresh hop aroma. Pine resin, touch of brine, juniper.
t) Fruit (apricot), spice (musk, nutmeg), bread crusts. Firm bitterness.
m) Quite light, a touch soapy or oily.
d) Tasty, but a bit 1-dimensional & uncomplicated.

This beer pours a nice honeyish amber colour with decent carbonation that leaves a one finger head that hangs around and leaves noticable lacing down the sides of the glass, the aromas are mainly passionfruit and lime with a little hoppy backnote, the taste is quite pleasant with a soft grapefruit, hoppy taste but just not bitter enough for my liking of the style and have seen better IPA's around but there is worse.

Sweet finally a hoppy IPA in NZ. Nice Job Boys.
Appearance- Light Amber Orange, Lots of Carbonation, Small head
Smell- Hops that aren't really overpowering more floral then spicy or bitter
Taste- Frontal Bitterness and a small malt body. There are different types of hops in here to have a cascade of different bitter tones which linger well past each sip
Mouthfeel- Very Carbonated, Smooth and light on the tongue.

A: Pours a clear gold with a copper-orange hue. Small off-white head with a little lace. Big carbonation.
S: Floral Hops, lemongrass, orange, honey. Hint of biscuity malt.
T: Chewy biscuity malt balance with a herbal hop through the middle and beginnging with a slightly astringent dry hop finish. Finish accompanied by some yeast and grapefruit notes.
M: Medium-bodied, slightly creamy brew that could do with less carbonation
D: Real nice English IPA that doesn't try to beat you over the head with hops.
