Draught at Factoria Plaza Vieja, Havana:
Quite an interesting one this & a nice beer in general, mainly because it was the first non-pale lager that I managed to try after almost two weeks in Cuba; it probably went down a lot better than it might otherwise have done as a result of this. It was quite a lively & fairly sweet offerings that featured a nice combination of toffee & caramel alongside the usual sugars & vanilla flavours, it also went down easily enough but I had been looking for something a touch more complex or memorable if I'm honest; still, this is definitely one to seek out if you find yourself in Havana,

From notes. I'm not sure about the style, but I'm gonna go with English pale ale. If anyone knows any better, please change it!
I suppose this is Cuba's answer to "not BMC". Served a hazy peach with a solid sticky head. Heavy grainy aroma with some fruit and lemon/citrus. Taste is quite malty, again with a pronounced lemon/citrus hop flavour and decent bitterness. Some nuttiness and butteriness come through as well. Quite fizzy but with a solid body, and very drinkable.
