My second taster at OEC. I'm a big stout fan, but given the existing ratings (3.89 from just 10 ratings) and OEC's propensity for sours, I didn't want to commit to a 750 ml growler for $17. Good move on my part.
Not that it was terrible, but some of their weird stuff definitely made it into the beer giving it some tartness. I got no roastiness whatsoever. It looked nice and felt like velvet on the palate and tongue, but that was just about all it had going for it.
Not their best work.

This beer was legitimately horrible and a room of at least ten people all agreed. I've had nightmares since about having to drink it again. I'm baffled by all the positive ratings because this was extremely far even from drinkable. Maybe just a bad bottle? But I kindof doubt it because it didn't tasted infected or anything like that, just tasted like a series of really bad decisions.

Cool blend of sour and chili and dry stout flavors. Nice sipper.
