Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a hazy violet color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of cherries, grapes, some sourness. Taste is tart, grapes, some cherries, desert dry at the finish. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

an absolutely incredible beer, possibly a new one, havent seen this before. count on mr bs downtown to have some uncommon italian stuff! this one is done with cherries, raspberries, and red grapes, and the color certainly shows that. its a muted soft dark purple, the meld of all these fruit colors, soapy sudsy white head too, and just a little haze, a beauty! the aroma and flavor are equally awesome. i think the raspberry and the grape are probably most forward, tart and jammy respectively, with the cherries close behind, a little sweet. tons of funk on top of the fruit though, as intense and concentrated as the fruit all seems to be. its bretty and woody for sure, expected red wine notes, dry cognac, heavy oak, clean though for how much fruit is here, only a tad sweet, and realy complex, especially as it warms up. it opens up into this incredible fruit bouquet, accentuated by the oak, made a little tangy by some wild yeast, but this is well short of sour. fuller bodied for the lower alcohol, fruit lingers long but is not sugary in the finish. frothy feel too, decent carbonation, feels fancy, expensive, and rare, if those are possibly picked up on in mouthfeel as a sense. this feels important, like it was a good one not to miss. the sexy bottles help, but this is special beer without question, some of the best italian wild beer i have had from anyone, and really something to behold. immensely high quality and delicious, the first blend of these three fruits too that i have seen. what a trinity!
