Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. This beer was brewed as a collaboration between Hollister and BrewLAB in Carpinteria, CA.
Appearance: medium-light golden hue with a bit of haze and aa finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Looks nice!
Smell: a light sweet malt with a moderate yeastiness; I like it, although I think it could be just a tad cleaner.
Taste: quite malty; maltier than the aroma led me to believe. Hops are subtle, but present, and there's just enough bitterness to offset the rich, almost honeylike malt character. I find I'm rather liking it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a nice creaminess. The creaminess works with the a-bit-on-the-sweet-side honey-malt character.
Overall: this is a super smooth beer, and I feel like I could quaff a good deal of it.
