Sampled 12/23/2010 at the brewpub.
Pours red, hazy, off-white head, good lace, and some retention.
Aroma is caramel, too sweet, and a hefty dose of hops. The hops seem to be an afterthought.
Flavor is caramel, chalk, chocolate, fish food, pine, and pot. High bitterness, lots of CO2, and some chalkiness.
Body is medium but the beer is a bit too sweet and fish food-y to drink a lot of.
