On-tap at Hollister Brewing
The beer pours a clear golden color with a white head. A pleasant citrus aroma of orange peel, tangerine, and grapefruit. Maybe a little bready malt and a nice resinous pine note. There's a little sweet fruit character to this one, mostly orange and tangerine. A mild bitterness of pine and grapefruit with light malt flavor.

Had this on tap while dining at the brewery, picked up a growler for the road. This review is from three days after purchase, halfway through the growler.
Pours a pale, straw gold. White head dissipates quickly. Note the hue I'd expect from a strong ale, not this pale at least. Definitely a for a Pale or IPA.
Nice hop notes of pine an citrus. Pretty standard aromas, but very sharp and balanced. Hints of citrus rinds, too.
Dry, piney start with a soft malt backbone and some hop bite following close by. Some of the body seems to have been lost from being a few days old, but it doesn't disrupt the flavors. There are notes of earthy, citrus rind flavors. Overall there's a good balances of juicy and earthiness.
This was excellent when I had it on tap and still pretty good a few days later, all things considered. I'm digging the hell out of this beer. These guys do hops right!

Asleep At the Wheel – 6.0% ABV
Described as an American style Strong Pale Ale. Easy drinking golden ale hopped with a mix of Columbus, Cascade, and Amarillo.
A: Super clear. Burnished. Goldenrod like hue with a nice one finger frothy white foam and some spider webs of lace.
S: Smell is very floral and herbal with hops. Citrus zest. Quite nice actually.
T: Taste is hoppy with a real nice bitterness overall. Floral and fruity. Light sugary cracker malt base there. Subtle. Very light and hoppy. Refreshing and easy to drink.
M: Real light in body with what seems a high carbonation factor and dry puckering crisp finish.
D: Very drinkable brew with a nice hoppy kick and super light malt structure. Not sure what constitutes this as an American Strong as it sure drinks like an IPA.
In fact I was told “Asleep at the Wheel” is just code name for when Hip Hop IPA has gone awry. And you do kind of get that sense that something is somewhat lacking with the brew. Not my most fav here today but still pint worthy.
