On-tap at Hollister
Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a white head. Huge hop aroma to this. Tons of grapefruit, pineapple, and pine. A hint of tropical fruit such as mango as well. Light cracker malt aroma in the background. The flavor is citric and crisp. Tons of grapefruit, great pineapple notes, and a soft pine bitterness. Very mild cracker malt flavor and almost no malt sweetness. Really enjoyed this beer.

Poured from firken into a 10-oz glass at the brewery.
A: Beautiful amber hue, the color of petrified pine sap, with a gorgeous creamy head that slowly settles as the beer cooks down to a stable, slightly hazy body.
N: Wonderful floral aroma of pine, grapefruit, and orange blossom.
T/M: Taste follows the nose--dry hoppy beer with a subtle malt backing, just the way I like it. Bitter middle that leaves citrus notes lingering on the tongue. The mouthfeel is perfect, with a smooth, medium light, creamy feel and a long, dry finish. Alcohol is definitely evident.
Very good cask ale. I know it is supposed to be a warmer serving but this is a touch warmer than I prefer my cask servings to be. Very great beer on draft, though, and I like the way it translates to cask. Cheers to Hollister and congrats to Torronado! (This is brewed in honor of Toronado's 25th anniversary.)
