March 2013: 250 ml (though the label says 375 ml) bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 10.5%. Batch #300. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Strong roasty aroma with distinct notes of oak and red wine. Rich and warming mouthfeel. The flavour is oaky and roasty, with notes of red wine, dark dried fruits, coffee, chocolate and liquorice. Impressive stuff.
