Feb. 2013: 500 ml bottle, batch #355, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 11.0%. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Strong aroma of wood, there are some notes of vanilla and bourbon, but not quite as pronounced as I expected. Roasty notes of coffee and chocolate in the background. Intense flavour, roasty and oaky as hell, and here the bourbon comes through more distinctly. Notes of strong coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla. Impressive stuff.
