This bourbon barrel aged barleywine pours a red copper hue with an off white two finger head and lacing here and there, the smell is strong butterscotch,bourbon, toffee and a touch of booze, mouthfeel is just under full bodied and carbonated a little too much with tastes of butterscotch, toffee malts, anzac biscuits and finished with a mix of sweet bourbon and bitter hops to keep the sweetness well in check and overall nicely done with the ABV well hidden, just might need some age cheers.
