Copenhagen 30/1 2016. 50 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Lightly clad Maiden with berry hair to celebrate that this beer is made with aronia (chokeberry) on the label.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a solid white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is tart and fruity. Sour berries, citrus, grapefruit and a lingering bitter scent.
Medium strong carbonation and a slightly thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a caramel sweetness which is balanced by tart berries and bitter grapefruit. Nice sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste which unfortunately does not last very long.
Pleasantly light and fresh with a nice bitter twist (no surprise there).

From Cervezalandia. For free, as it was 9 months after bb date. In Teku glass. Playing Mahluk. Not the most unpleasant but flat and with with some bad veggie notes.

Hazy peach color with white head. Aroma has an "old hops" feel and resembles a wheat beer. The bottle seems to be quite old. Taste starts fruity and I also get tea and honey flavors. Finish is bitter with green tea notes. Body is quite heavy for a pale ale, carbonation is medium. It might have been a good beer when it was fresh, now it's just "meh".
