Copenhagen 2/2 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled torv, Kbh Ø. Aggressive baby wombat from hell chewing at it's pacifier with a vengeance on the label. Lots of hand weapons.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as thin, flimsy patches of foam clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet with a potent bitter twist. Brown sugar, cinnamon, bitter coffee, licorice, caramel.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, tough texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger coffee bitterness. Aftertaste has a notable bitterness with a fairly strong sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
They might be feisty but the Baby wombats from Hell have a decent taste in beer.
