Copenhagen 7/3 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Simon Daugaard drawing of a machine-gun wielding Don on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big beige head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken ayer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet malts and a bit of alcohol mingling with an earthy dark scent. Brown sugar and dark roasted malts. Vanilla and leather. Compost.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, viscous, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Decent, roasted and earthy boozer with a dry touch.

From Boxbeers. In Teku glass. Playing Broken Age. Lots of dark chocolate and bitterness, with pleasant vanilla notes and a perfectly well hidden abv, with great drinkability. Perfect aroma
