Copenhagen 11/3 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Slightly deranged looking fellow riding the waves on the label.
Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with solid white head. A lot of good things floating around in the beer after pouring. Head settles as thin layer of creamy foam. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fruity, citric and very nice. Warm oranges and harsher Grape Fruit with more subdued odor of exotic fruit.
Light carbonation and slightly thick texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by strong solid citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a bite Finish is dry.
Nice, fresh IPA which reminds me of summer.

330 ml can, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy golden colour, moderate to small white head. "West Coast IPA" aroma, with notes of orange marmalade, grapefruit and pine / resin. The flavour has the same elements, but is fairly dry, and has a reasonably bitter finish. Not too fizzy, nice beer.

From Miguel. In Teku glass. Watching Games of Thrones 7x06 VOSE. Well executed example of the style, with the pine resin notes pretty noticeable but not excessive and leaving great aftertaste

Pours a clear amber, with thick, high foam.
Smell is prototypical West Coast. Hugely resinous, piney and citrusy.
Taste is, as the smell, just classic West Coast IPA. Piney resin, citrus and an oily, massive bitterness, with a hint of rye bread on the finish. Superb!
Mouthfeel is medium and sticky, well carbonated.
Overall, this rivals the classics of the genre, Alesmith, Stone, Green Flash. Awesome beer!
