Copenhagen 31/3 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A fine rendering of the Polish general Czarniecki looking ready to attack some innocent bystanders on the can. Especially if they are Swedes.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet slightly roasted malty order mingling with a bit of Christmas spice and alcohol. Dark malts with a touch of toast. Cinnamon, vanilla and brown sugar. Plums and raisins soaked in dark alcohol.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sugary sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Flavor is sweet but with a surprisingly strong bitter undertone Lingering. Finish is sem-dry with a touch of alcohol.
More flavored than Baltic.

From Boxbeers. In Teku glass. Playing Space Pilgrim Episode 4. Curious baltic porter, with vanilla and notes that remind me some kind of red fruits. In any case, its very original and easy to drink
