Copenhagen 30/4 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Pirate Gal with saber and gun looking sneaky on the label.
Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a medium-sized head. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet and acidulous at the same time. Burnt caramel, nutmeg and mango mingling with grapefruit and citrus.
Light yet prickly carbonation. Slightly thick texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and spicy. Finish is semi-dry.
On the moderate side for an Amager IPA when it comes to intensity and bitterness - but a nice touch with the nutmeg.

From Cervezalandia. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 2. Didnt find the nutmeg the label speaks about. Just a well executed west coast ipa with noticeable yet well adjusted resinous notes
