Copenhagen 24/5 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Hardy Viking with a braided Beard fighting his way through arrows and spears on the label.
Pours very dark, opaque brown with a light tan head. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense and quite sweet. Roasted malts, brown sugar, light chocolate odor, dry tobacco and caramel.
Light carbonation and surprisingly thin yet pleasantly soft texture.
Flavor has strong sweetness without being cloying. Followed by lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with some sweet notes. Fairly short.
Light and pleasant - but not overly exciting.
