Copenhagen 12/9 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh S. Splendid Daugaard drawing of a Baby-boomer with a batch of babies outside the Kinder-Klinik.
Pours golden orange with a small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is dominated by a strong, fruity sourness with an underlying lighter sweetness. Tart berries, green apples, citrus. Light odor of peach rummaging in the background. Distinct notes of Lemon grass.
Strong carbonation.Thin, watery, fizzy, lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger sourness. Aftertaste is a bit thin and sour-ish. Lingers for a bit. Semi--dry finish.
Fresh and summer-like going all in on the Lemongrass. But a bit thin. I guess that goes with the territory.
