Copenhagen 11/9 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh S. Drawing of a guy in uniform armed to the teeth on the label. Cartoonish style by Simon Daugaard.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as a flimsy, thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweet and fermented and with a citric twist. Fermented Mango and Passion fruit. Hints of leather. Light decay. Sharp Citrus fruit rummaging in the background.
Light carbonation. Thick, Soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet and boozy undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Real nice heavy hitting DIPA with a bitter twist.
