Copenhagen 6/6 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Usual design of the Talents & Legends series with a rugged legend and a young, hipster talent. This time in purple and pink color shades.
Pours hazy, pale yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is quite intense for a Session IPA with a sweet fruity odor of stone fruit followed by aggressive, tart, citric notes. Peach and pineapple. Grape fruit and unripe gooseberries.
Fairly strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is Bitter and citric with a decent bite. Finish is dry.
Quite some bang for the buck for Session IPA.
