Copenhagen 1/11 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Drawing of heaving whale about to squash a little boat.
Pours unclear, slightly dirty, golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet scent of exotic fruit overpowered by strong citric sour fumes. Oranges, peach and pineapple. Citrus and grape fruit. Pine.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling, lively texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter with a harsh edge. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Intense for a Session IPA with a nice bitter bite.
