Copenhagen 23/11 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A knight in plate armor holding a goblet of beer on the can. Hop flower on his shield.
Pours slightly unclear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as flimsy, thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with citric and grassy notes. Sweet pale malts, lemon and citrus fruit, fresh cut grass.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a mediums strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Decent pilsner. Had expected a more prominent bitterness when I take into account that this Knight is travelling around with a giant Hop flower on his shield.
