Copenhagen 11/12 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Brewers Playground brand can-design with a young couple frolicking by the hop trellises on a swing with a brackish red background.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a prominent sweet, fruity odor mingling with a ominous scent of spicy pepper and whiff of citrus. Peach and mango. Black pepper. Tart citrus and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, tingling, lively texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairly strong sweetness followeed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a searing pepper-ish undertone. Finish is rather dry.
Indian Pale Ale with a light touch of pepper without overdoing it.
