Copenhagen 20/9 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh, Ø. Brewers Playtime brand can-design with a young couple frolicking by the hop trellises on a swing with a burgundy background.
Pours opaque hazy, slightly dirty, golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin - almost transparent - layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruit mingling with a citric scent. Peach and nectarines. Grapefruit and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Solid NEIPA with a fine citric sensibility.
