Copenhagen 24/10 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A happy farmer with his kids standing surrounded by corn rows on the can.
Pours unclear, almost hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with citric fumes. Peach and toffee. Citrus and lemon. Hints of unripe gooseberries. A bit sharp.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit sharp. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Bitter and dry and somewhat one-dimensional.
