Copenhagen 19/8 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A happy dog surfing on the can.
Pours unclear, pale yellow with as mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with citric notes. Sweet pale malts and caramel. Citrus and grapefruit. A bit sharp.
Rather strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and sharp. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A nice summer beer. So dry I would not exactly call it a quencher.
