Copenhagen 19/10 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of a rampaging bull on the can.
Pours opaque, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling and straining to cover the surface the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet odor of slightly fermented tropical fruits mingling with a subtle citric scent. Mango and passion fruit. Hints of decay. Grapefruit and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, yet a bit lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and bit sharp. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Not boozy enough to be a rampant Bull - but certainly a more than decent DIPA.
