Copenhagen 10/10 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Amagers usual design for their Talents & Legends brand with a rugged brewer and a younger colleague this time in a purple hue.
Pours opaque dark brown with mid-sized light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet, roasted odor mingling with earthy scents. Dark roasted malts, toffee and hints of brown sugar. Leather and tobacco.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed and balanced with nearly as strong a bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit searing. . Lingering. Finish is rather dry and earthy.
Earthy, dark and potent.
