Copenhagen 5/1 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Red can in Amager's usual Christmas design with a bunch of Christmas Elves ganging up on a little girl.
Pours unclear reddish amber with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of. Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor laced in caramel mingling with a light toasted scent. Caramel, sweet biscuit and toffee. Toasted malt and bread.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry with a toasted quality.
Decent Amber Ale with a fine toasted touch.
