Copenhagen 20/8 2024. 44 cl can from Meny,Borups Allé, Frb. F. Can with two gentlemen who looks a bit rough arond the edges in Simon Daugaards elegant comics inspired style.
Pours opaque murky mahogany with a red hue. Small off-white head. Settles as a thin patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense but gets stronger as the beer warms up. Sweet odor of malts mingling with sourish notes. Toffee, vanilla and caramel. Sour grains and citrus peeking in- Touch of alcohol. Liqueur.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture. A bit sticky.
Flavor is rather intense with a strong sweetness followed and balanced by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit rough. Lingering . Finish is dry and boozy.
