Copenhagen 3/8 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. A naked and bearded fellow getting a hug form a couple of Devils on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with sa mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of roasted dark malts mingling with a more subtle scent of citrus fruit. Roasted coffeee and toffee. Grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong sharp bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is dry.
Flavorful and bitter Black IPA.
