Copenhagen 23/9 2023. 75 cl capped and waxed bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of a serious looking Native American standing proud in darkness on the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong sweet and malty odor with a fruity touch and a distinct scent of dark alcohol. Dark roasted malts, toffee and brown sugar. Raisins and conserved plums. Vanilla and Bourbon.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, soft, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sugary sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy streak. Sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is sticky and boozy.
Wholesome.
