Copenhagen 5/8 2023. 75 cl capped and waxed bottle from Meny,Borups Allé, Frb. F. Amager Bryghus' usual American Outlaws brand design with drawing of Rose Dunn which had a brief career as assistant and love interest for George Newcomb.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small ligt beige head. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong sweet odor of toasted dark malts mingling with a sharp sweet scent of alcohol. Brown sugar, licorice, toffee and dark chocolate. Bourbon and wood.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a little sticky, slightly viscous, almost flat texture.
Alvor is intensewith a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undertone. Lingering. Sweet and boozy finish.
She may not be the greatest of outlaws but she got a more than decent Imperial Porter.
