Copenhagen 10/9 2023. 75 cl capped and waxed bottle from many, Borups Allé. Frb. F. Drawing of Sally Skull, the Scariest Siren of Texas with a black eye on the label.
Pours opaque murky, dark maroon with a red hue. Mid-sized Hogg-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary malty odor mingling with boozy barrels. Touch of salty sea. Caramel and toffee. Whiff of brown sugar. Raisins. Salty licorice. Sweet bourbon.
Light carbonation- Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and boozy. Lingering. Finish is rather dry and quite saturated in alcohol.
Sweet boozy and potent with a delicate touch of the salty sea.
